The platform can live on your home screen, app menu or desktop. No app store is required and your account continues to work the same way.

Compatibility and manual install

Phone, tablet or computer

When the browser exposes native installation, the button above opens it. When no prompt is available, use your system's manual procedure.

Android · Chrome / Edge

  1. 1.Open ACCA Genius Lab in the browser.
  2. 2.Open the ⋮ menu or the install prompt.
  3. 3.Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. 4.Confirm to create the standalone app icon.

iPhone / iPad · Safari

  1. 1.Open the site in Safari.
  2. 2.Tap Share.
  3. 3.Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4.Confirm Add; it will open as a standalone app.

Windows · Chrome / Edge

  1. 1.Open the platform in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2.Use the Install icon in the address bar or browser menu.
  3. 3.Confirm Install.
  4. 4.You can pin it to Start or the taskbar.

Mac · Safari / Chrome / Edge

  1. 1.Open the platform in your browser.
  2. 2.Use Install directly when it appears.
  3. 3.In Safari use the option to add the site to the Dock when available.
  4. 4.Open the new icon as a standalone application.

Android tablets / ChromeOS

  1. 1.Open the site in Chrome or a compatible browser.
  2. 2.Find Install app in the menu.
  3. 3.Confirm installation.
  4. 4.The interface adapts to portrait or landscape orientation.

Other browsers

  1. 1.If you see Install or Add to Home, you can use it.
  2. 2.If the browser does not support desktop PWA installation, the website still works normally.
  3. 3.You can keep a shortcut or bookmark.
  4. 4.Install capability depends on the browser and version.

What stays the same after installation

The PWA only changes how the platform opens. Authentication, secure exams, grading and API traffic remain network/server controlled; the service worker does not cache protected answers or authentication endpoints.
